... yet another era of tension

At the time of CRESCENTS, the SpaceWorld Community and Earth Liberation Front continue a 50-year struggle for dominance on earth and in its orbit.
At the same time the world's largest corporations, Frontier and Neurocraft are in fierce competition for construction rights for the Space Development Plan.

... Astrocounter, a new player in the interplanetary war

The fight between SWC and Earth Liberation Front goes on...
To accomodate combat under extreme conditions in space, the combat space suit Astrocounter, short ASCO, was born. Towering about an arm's length above the size of an ordinary human, the ASCO picks up its pilot's movements mechanically and amplifies power to the joints to enable more dynamic movement than a human would be capable of. Throughout the Elmer War and the Battle of Dark Moon, these weapons have come to play a leading role in modern space combat.

... A new dream for humanity in space, Gaisaspine

When the Space Development Plan was put into effect, the construction of a means of transportation between earth and the space colonies was initiated. Applying its major technology, the Biosynch System, Neurocraft Enterprise is undertaking this greatest construction project in human history; A long bridge connecting earth and a station in its orbit... the orbit elevator Gaiaspine.

... Neurocraft's new type ASCO development plan, Artemis Project

Left behind by Frontier in terms of ASCO production and sales, Neurocraft pushes forward the development of its Artemis Project, a new type of ASCO based on its Biosynch System, in order to gain the lead in the race to get selected as the provider for the SWC's next ASCO generation. But also the Earth Liberation Front holds a growing interest in obtaining this new type ASCO development plan in hope to turn around the tide of its dwindling support...

... And...

This is a time in which the space colonization program represents a new perspective of living for the common people in the face of earth's overpopulation. Technologies like high-density nuclear fusion reactors, novel materials, gravity control and bionics have already become commonplace.

.

Yet even in this time of vigorous expansion and new technology,
an inexplicable deep depression reigns over the universe.
