Developer Introductions

Han JongKoo

Having worked with Kim MuKwang on the unreleased RPG Dojisan Geomjirim before, Han JongKoo became Garam and Baram's new team leader and the main director of Seal when work on the game started. He continued directing Narsilion and the manhwa-adaption Chunrang Yuljun. Then in 2004 he left to work with SonoV, where he produced the extremely short-lived MMORPG L.I.F.E. Online.

Kim BoYoung

Kim BoYoung initially joined the team as a 2D artist for Leithian, but being an aspiring novelist, she would soon take over writing duties for Seal and Leithian, both of which are regarded as some of the finest examples of storytelling in Korean RPGs. She also drew the character illustrations for Seal. Afterwards she became an acclaimed science fiction short story writer.

Kim MuKwang

Kim MuKwang was the original founder of team Garam & Baram, as he already used the name when he was working on his own on several homebrew games in the early 1990s. Starting out as the team's leader, he eventually specialized as an artist. He worked on every Garam & Baram game from The Legend of 8 Dragons (developed at Mips Soft) to Chunrang Yuljun and Seal Online, but left before the latter was completed. Afterwards he worked on several unreleased MMOs for JoyOn in 2005-2006, and since then has mostly been taking external jobs for several developers.

Kim ByungChul

Another long-time team member, Kim ByungChul joined Garam & Baram around 1995. Like most of the other key members he has dabbled in various fields at first, and eventually settled as the team's main programmer. He stayed with Grigon Entertainment until the company went under, overseeing the productions of Seal Online, the casual tennis game Gambledon, the Cartoon Network cooperation FusionFall and Canhel, a more serious fantasy MMORPG that was unfortunately never finished.

Hwang JooEun

Hwang JooEun was not a member of team Garam & Baram proper, but at the time a freelance composer hired to create the music for Seal. Previously, he had become known for composing the music of Softmax' The War of Genesis and Rhapsody of Zephyr, both equally subtle and powerful soundtracks. His later credits include compositions for several Nexon classics, the EZ2DJ series, La Tale, Aion and several other NC Soft games.
